Measure your head

Wrap a flexible tape around your head, about 2.5 cm above your eyebrows. Find the largest circumference and compare it with that model’s manufacturer size chart.

Try the fit

The helmet should fit snugly around your head without excessive pressure. With the strap properly fastened, it should not rotate easily independently of your head.

Check the model

Follow the manufacturer’s manual and try it before buying. Measurement is a starting point; the internal shape also affects fit.

Full-face

Fixed chin bar and face coverage.

Modular

Hinged chin bar. Check the manual for permitted riding positions.

Open-face

No chin bar: the chin is exposed.
